Front Desk Attendant

The Front Desk Attendant is a highly customer-oriented position and a great fit for an outgoing, engaging person who enjoys interacting with others, answering questions, and providing assistance to players, guests, and partners. The ideal candidate is an energetic, efficient, and self- motivated individual who likes to work in a fun environment and provides great customer service.
The Front Desk Attendant reports to the Director of Operations and supports the Manager of Pickleball Operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- First greeter of members/guests, answering phone and provide facility tours as necessary.
- Schedules court time and assists members/guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Explains all Pickleball programs, services, and equipment to members and assists them with determining their individual needs
- Assists in ensuring all facilities, including bathrooms and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition.
- Assists guests with merchandise purchases.
- Ability to learn Pickleball & More computer systems and ensure registrations, check in/check out, payment processing is seamless and efficient.
- Promote Pickleball & More programs, offerings and events of interest.
- Ensures all daily billing is completed accurately and efficiently and reconciles the cash register at the end of a shift.
- Responsible for opening/closing the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Flexibility to respond to changing work priorities and handle numerous projects at a time.
- Ability to participate in software training programs and demonstrate required training knowledge via successful use of Pickleball & More computer systems.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Evening and weekend shifts are available and required.
- Current or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certifications within first 30 days of hire.
- The ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to view computer screen/monitor, utilize keyboard and answer/make phone calls.
- Pickleball experience both playing and understanding the rules.
- Customer service experience preferred.
